Ideas for digital frame's future
Digital frame market isn't so hot as predicted, a lot of new design ideas come out for digital frame's future. Will it work?
One idea I have read is about web2.0. Manufacture give free digital frame or sale with a very low price, and then, in addition to display photo, advertisement will also roll out regularly. This idea is good but crazy, from the view of a customer, will they turn it off or turn their face around when advertisement rolling?
Digital frame need more functions, not just only dispaly pictures or play a short movie cut, I will not go to put it on my desktop or hang it on the wall. One glance a day but also consume the power a whole day.
However, if the digital frame has both an active mini-speakers, and support for Bluetooth, wifi onine surfing, temprature display, it would be better if it can synchronize my calendar with my outlook account, I think that would make it better use and I will put it on my office desk. Now most digital frame has a powerful alarm clock, supports morning calls, the traditional ring tones can play mp3 or music, that's make it different.
If some can make digital photo frame mobile phone dock, cell phone information can be synchronized to support the hands-free, mobile video display, I think it would be more fun.
Of course, a futhure digital frame with all of those functions will make the price too expensive.
