Using Digital Frame to Organise Your Art

Digital frames make a great addition to the Arts classroom. All kinds of artwork can be presented in the simple to use digital hardware. The presentations can be arranged to look exceptionally attractive. This motivates the artist to put a lot of effort into the quality of the art that they produce for the slideshow. Galleries of work can be uploaded and presented as a display of class achievement. This looks so good that a snowballing motivational effect can fuel enthusiasm about Art.

Have incoming students view the album as an induction exercise. Then ease the students into a brainstorming session about how they might use the album in the coming year.

Encourage them to take pieces of work out of the album and replace them with images that they think better represent their skills level or “how they are thinking now”. When the work is finally assessed, it will be a true representation of the fullest and latest information about the progress of the student. You will be proud of the authentic nature of the work done by your Art class.
