Most digital frames only come with AC adapter, because LCD is "battery eater", it will cost you some money on battery especailly those unchargeble, and battery may only run for about 4 hours maximun on a full charge, you need to buy more batteries to keep LCD running.
Even so, a built in battery is a good feathure for digital frames if you need LCD to play for a while without AC, like in your car, for a picnic with your friends, or some other events that AC is not acceccable, there are a few battery powered digital frames.
